i'm down with opc

there are so many amazing vegan cookbooks that are coming out this fall that frankly, i'm honored just to be counted among them.

first we have veganomican, the latest cookbook from the sexiest awesomest vegan chefs and cookbook authors, isa chandra moskowitz and terry hope romero. i was lucky enough to be a tester for this cookbook, and let me tell you: there are some instant favorites in here that you and your entire family will go nuts over. really. and your family will think that you are a total badass cook all of the sudden, and you won't even have to correct them, because owning this cookbook will make you a better cook. one of my favorite things about this book is that there is a considerable section in the front that deals with how to cook pretty much any vegetable in a delicious way, which you know that you need, baby, because you aren't eating enough vegetables. i'm sorry, what was that? you're eating how much? you're supposed to eat about six times that amount. i know. so you better get this book.

i'm also really excited about two upcoming zines made by wildly talented pals of mine. the first is a 76 page cookzine called papa tofu, by my friend kittee. kittee's website of delicious vegan recipes has been around since before blogs even existed, people. and now you can have her wisdom right there in your hands. yay! i'm also super-excited about my friend katie's new issue of her food zine don't eat off the sidewalk, which will be about holiday food! this is a must-have pocket-sized bible for those of you who have to cook all of your own food at family holiday dinners. keep your eyes glued to both of those blogs for info on how to get those zines when they're ready.

i am so down with other people's cookbooks.

I'm having the same problem as Kira. I'm doing a VeganMoFo blogs rss feed, and noticed I only get really old posts on my reader.
